lululemon.com : 12 Launches of 2011

In August, Mobify launched lululemon.com’s mobile site.

Since 1998, lululemon has been making premium technical yoga and run clothes. What started as a clothing line sharing space with a yoga studio in Vancouver has grown to over 150 stores around the world and half a billion dollars in revenue.

lululemon has a young, tech savvy audience who craved a way to buy and interact with the brand on their mobile devices – mobile made up a significant percentage of their traffic prior to building a mobile site.

So when they wanted to launch on mobile they wanted to launch a site that lived up to their guests expectations. In addition, they need a mobile platform that seamlessly integrated with their e-commerce platform and involved minimal input from their inhouse IT team.

The combintation of Mobify’s adaptive HTML 5 framework and our global platform meant lululemon mobile guests were enjoying a new mobile experience, browsing community content and buying high-performance yoga gear in no time flat.

Even iPad users get in on the action, with tablet optimized elements like touch and swipe-enabled image galleries.

The result is a beautiful, functional site that integrates lululemon’s trademark community enthusiasm with the exceptional in-store experience, across mobile and tablet devices.

Check it out by visiting lululemon.com from anywhere on devices like your iPhone, iPad or Android.
